Jamaica

This Caribbean island is typically associated with Reggae and Rastafarian culture. Being the 3rd largest island in the Caribbean, with warm tropical climate all year round and more than 10,000 km of coastline with beautiful beaches, Jamaica offers the visitor a huge diversity of natural beauty, culture and entertainment.

The omnipresent Rastafarian movement is expressed through the very particular dreadlock hairstyle and the characteristic colors of Red, Green and Gold. Frequently ‘Sound Systems’ play in the streets and plazas and on beaches all over the country, and the legendary Bob Marley’s birthplace, the small village Nine Mile, is today a well-known tourist attraction. Jamaica’s fabulous beaches along its tropical coastlines, surrounded by coconut and fruit plantations invite the visitor to enjoy a broad range of water sports.
